BillieLou "Bunnie" Wertz, 81, of Woodbridge, VA and formerly of Derry, PA
passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at home. Bunnie was born May
31, 1937 in Derry, PA to William Edgar and Mabel Best. She married Victor
"Waldo" Wertz on September 22, 1962.
Bunnie worked for Alco Products, Westinghouse Electric Company, American
Machine and Foundry Company, Bethlehem Steel Company, GBS Pollum Financial and
Morrelli Associates.
Bunnie was a member of Eastern Star and Beta Tau. She and Herky were
members of the Silver Spokes Motorcycle Club. They were members of Cokesbury
United Methodist Church Since 1965.
Beloved mother of Karl Wertz; mother-in-law of Tracy Wertz; and grandmother
"Grammie" of Kaci Nicole and Hunter Ryan Wertz.
She was preceded in death by her husband Victor "Herky" Wertz, her parents
William Edgar and Mabel Best.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 5-7:00
p.m. at Miller Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3200 Golansky Blvd.,
Woodbridge, VA 22192. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 7,
2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 14806 Blackburn Road,
Wooodbridge, VA 22191, with interment to follow at Cranford United Methodist
Church Cemetery, 9912 Old Colchester Road, Lorton, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the Wertz family is requesting donations be made to
Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
