Deborah L. Korman, 54
Deborah “Debbie” Korman, of Woodbridge VA, went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Debbie was a Principal Vice President of Operations for Burke and Herbert bank for 27 years. She was a Christian woman and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Her death was preceded by her parents, Phyllis Cox Ponce and Carroll Shumate (BP). Debbie is survived by her father, Jose Ponce; five siblings, Ron Shumate, Randy Shumate, Eddie Ponce, Jill Shumate, and Susan Shumate; husband, Robert G. Korman Jr.; three children, Cynthia (Harrison) Ludington, Amanda (Ross) Day, and Brent E. (Kayla) Holley II and two bonus children Robert G. Korman III and Amanda Korman; six and a half grandchildren, Harrison T. Ludington, Landon Ludington, Summer Day, and expecting Brycen Holley in addition to Emma, Reid, and Harley Korman.
The viewing is schedule for Friday, September 28, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Miller Funeral Home – 3200 Golansky Blvd. Woodbridge, VA. The Celebration of Life service will commence on Saturday, September 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church – 14242 Spriggs Rd. Woodbridge, VA.
