Robin Haynes, 54, passed away, surrounded by family on September 12, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.
Robin was born August 17, 1964 in East Liverpool OH. She was the daughter of Richard and Esta Smith, both deceased. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1983. Robin moved to Virginia in 1985, where she met Mark Haynes of Woodbridge, VA. The two married in 1988, and had three beautiful children.
Robin is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Mark Haynes, her sons Nick Haynes (Kimberly) and Logan Haynes, daughter Kirsten Haynes and grandson Camden Haynes of Spotsylvania, VA. She is also survived by her brothers Terry Smith and Jeffrey Smith (Kimberly) of East Liverpool, OH.
Robin enjoyed spending as much time as possible with family and friends. She was a member of the Fredericksburg Moose Lodge - Women of the Moose Chapter 1592. Robin was also committee member of the Spotsylvania Soap Box Derby. She spent much of her time entertaining at her Spotsylvania, VA home. Her annual Christmas party was always something to look forward to. She was most proud of her three children and their many accomplishments. Her grandson, Camden, became Robin’s greatest joy and she spent much of her last year helping to care for him.
Family will receive friends at Miller’s Funeral Home at 3200 Golansky Blvd. Woodbridge, VA 22192 on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 10am-12noon. A service at the funeral home will be at noon, with interment at Quantico National Cemetery immediately following. A celebration of Robin’s life will be held from 3pm-5pm at the Dale City Moose Lodge - 15424 Cardinal Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22193.
